Tax Exempt Status
According to the Internal
Revenue Service (I.R.S.), The Firelands Computer Club operates as a
non-profit organization and is exempt from federal income tax under section
501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section
501 (c) (3).
One of the requirements
to keep this status mandates that the Firelands Computer Club make
available for public inspection our annual information return, Form 990 or
Form 990-EZ, for three years after the later of the due date of the return
or the date the return is filed.
The Firelands Computer Club is also required to make available for public
inspection our exemption application, any supporting documents, and our
exemption letter.
All of these documents are
provided for inspection at all public meetings of the Firelands Computer
Club. Copies of these documents will be provided upon request. If you have

Federal
Tax Returns for the past 3 years and exemption letter are available for
public inspection at any meeting. Copies of these documents are also
